Happy New Years Eve, all! As I sit on the plane home to go ring in 2018 (and my birthday!), I couldn’t help but reflect on WHAT-A-YEAR this has been. While every day isn’t fairies, unicorns and cupcakes (although I tend to believe it is), 2017 has been pretty spectacular and I want to share some of my learning experiences with you! 

There is no designated time to do anything in your life. Everyone’s paths are unique and don’t fit into a predetermined formula. You don’t need to finish school at a certain time, get married or have a baby at a certain age, or find your dream job or calling right away. That’s the beauty of life and “connecting the dots.” For when you look backwards, everything will make sense and happen just as, and when, it should for you. Why would you want to share the same story with someone else anyway? 

So as we prepare to welcome 2018, it’s important to remember that the new year is a book with endless sentences to write, pages to fill and chapters to begin and end. You are the author crafting the plot of your life. You have the power to be and do whatever you set your mind to. So find your passion and don’t stop going after. Trust the process. What you will find along the way will totally surprise you.
