Every person is a door to a new world. You never know who is going to come knocking.

Did you ever take a second to stop and think that someone has the potential to flip your entire world around? When you cross paths with someone new, you never know from the initial exchange where he or she will lead you. Maybe you'll fall in love, maybe you'll find a best friend, maybe you'll find a new job. Connections are happing all the time, all over the world. When you least expect it, someone might come into your life and completely direct you down a different path.

This is what I like to call serendipity. Serendipity is not only my favorite movie, but one of my favorite words. It's the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way, “a series of fortunate accidents.”

Meeting new people helps us open our mind (and hearts) to things that we may not have known before. It never hurts to gain extra knowledge and experience here and there.
