The holiday season's festivities are upon us, and chances are your social calendar has already be filled up with holiday cocktail gatherings, office shindigs, family functions, and the like. Not only will the right never-been-kissed (foolproof) seasonal color make your party look pop from mistletoe to midnight, but it’s also the one time of the year when your makeup can be festive on purpose.

Red Lipstick is quintessential to the holiday season. It feels festive and has been known to becomes our go-to accessory when creating any sort of holiday party ensemble. • It’s no surprise that Charlotte Tilbury, makeup goddess and queen of Hollywood glamour, has crafted the perfect shade of red with her Matte Revolution Red Carpet Red Lipstick ($34). Talk about WOW factor! The lipstick features ingredients for plump, hydrated lips in a matte finish formula.
• The Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella ($26) is the perfect combination of lip pencil and lipstick in a matte scarlet hue. It should definitely be at the top of your wish list.
• Sultry and classic are the best ways to describe the much-loved Chanel Rouge Allure in Pirate ($36). The long-wearing, blue-tinged shade is the perfect shade to tout for a gorgeous satiny finish. Santa, I'll take two, please.
